NRC Public Meeting Re: PG&E's ability to manage the effects of aging

The NRC is holding a public meeting on Thursday, Jan. 27. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the results of an inspection report regarding PG&E's "ability to manage the effects of aging on plant systems, structures, and components for an additional 20 years of operation beyond the expiration date of their current licenses."

microphoneThe inspection report is available in the NRC’s ADAMS online documents system at: Choose  Public Meeting Schedule, then scroll down to the meeting Jan. 27 at the Marriott in San Luis Obispo. Choose "meeting notice" , then from the middle of that document.  From there choose "Begin Web-based ADAMS Search", then "simple search" and then enter the  accession number ML103220205 in the search window.

This report relates to one of the contentions presented by the Mothers for Peace in our opposition to license renewal.  The public is invited to comment or to ask questions at the end of the formal presentation.
